    Andorra 2018: 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

    The design represents an abstracted tree, in the trunk of which the issuing state “ANDORRA” and the year “2018” are to be read. The step-like branches with fine leaves symbolize the stages of development of human rights. In the background you can see the silhouette of the Pyrenees. The motif is surrounded by the inscription “70 ANYS DE LA DECLARACIO UNIVERSALS DELS DRETS HUMANS” (70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights).

    The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
